Quick Crawfish Pasta Recipe

 

It's crawfish season but pilling back those mudbugs gets tiring. With all that leftover crawfish after the boil, you’ve considered cooking the remaining and making a meal. Here is a quick and easy crawfish pasta recipe to spicy up that crawfish season!

Ingredients: 

  • 1 or 2 lbs. of Crawfish

  • 1 Family Sized Can of Cream of Mushroom Soup

  • Diced: Onions, Bell Peppers and Garlic

  • Velveeta Cheese or any Block Cheese

  • Liquid Crab Boil

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  • Tony’s or Slap ya Mama

  • Cayenne Pepper or any Seasoning of Choice

  • Margarine or Butter

  • Pasta (Rotini, Linguine or Egg noodles)

Steps:

  1. Sautee onions, bell peppers and garlic in margarine or butter until tender.

  2. Add the Cream of Mushroom soup and water to desired consistency, stirring until the texture is smooth.

  3. Season with salt, pepper, Tony’s or Slap Ya Mama, cayenne pepper or desired seasoning choice to taste. 

  4. Add a capful of crab boil.

  5. Add desired cheese amount to the sauce. (Add a small amount at a time. It’s easier to add more if needed.)

  6. Add crawfish and leave on low heat for about 10 minutes.

  7. Boil pasta and add to a baking dish when done.

  8. Slowly stir in the crawfish sauce to the pasta until it’s even (you can add small slices of cheese to the top.) 

  9. Bake in the oven on 325 degrees for 15-20 minutes
